Fields and Clips window

The FormsAssistant - Fields and Clips window contains two, resizable and positionable window panes. By default, the upper pane contains a list of fields and the lower pane contains a list of clips.

The Fields pane lists all of the available fields. You can add fields to this list, remove fields from this list, and insert fields from this list into new or existing documents.

When you highlight a field from the list, previously entered values, or clips, display in the Clips pane. If clips don't display, this simply means you have not previously entered a value. You can add clips to this list, remove clips from this list, and insert clips from this list into new or existing documents.

Use the FormsAssistant - Fields and Clips window to build forms using previously defined fields and clips.

For example, say you want to build a new form using some fields from one document and other fields from another document. Simply open a new or existing Word document, click the FormsAssistant tab, and then click Fields and Clips on the FormsAssistant toolbar. Make field and clip selections from the two lists.
