Hiding the toolbar

FormsAssistant automatically places its toolbar beneath the standard Word toolbar. Select one of the following methods to hide the FormsAssistant toolbar.

Note:

Only versions prior to Word 2007 provide these options.

Method 1 - Selecting toolbars

1.	Right-click on any of the toolbars.

2.	Scroll down the list of toolbars until you locate FormsAssistant.

3.	Uncheck the box next to FormsAssistant.

Method 2 - Undocking the toolbar

1.	Position the mouse over the far left of the FormsAssistant toolbar until you see the pointer change to the Move pointer, .

2.	At this location, hold down the left mouse button and drag the toolbar down onto the page. Release the mouse button.

3.	In the standalone FormsAssistant toolbar, click the close button at the top-right corner of the Title bar, .

Method 3 - Using the menus

1.	Click Tools > Customize on the Menu bar.

2.	In the Customize dialog box, click the Toolbars tab.

3.	Scroll down until you locate FormsAssistant.

4.	Uncheck the box next to FormsAssistant.
