FormsAssistant automatically places its toolbar beneath the standard Word toolbar. Select one of the following methods to hide the FormsAssistant toolbar.
| Note: | Only versions prior to Word 2007 provide these options. |
Method 1 - Selecting toolbars
| 1. | Right-click on any of the toolbars. |
| 2. | Scroll down the list of toolbars until you locate FormsAssistant. |
| 3. | Uncheck the box next to FormsAssistant. |
Method 2 - Undocking the toolbar
| 1. | Position the mouse over the far left of the FormsAssistant toolbar until you see the pointer change to the Move pointer, . |
| 2. | At this location, hold down the left mouse button and drag the toolbar down onto the page. Release the mouse button. |
| 3. | In the standalone FormsAssistant toolbar, click the close button at the top-right corner of the Title bar, . |
Method 3 - Using the menus
| 1. | Click Tools > Customize on the Menu bar. |
| 2. | In the Customize dialog box, click the Toolbars tab. |
| 3. | Scroll down until you locate FormsAssistant. |
| 4. | Uncheck the box next to FormsAssistant. |
