Adding a field to the Fields and Clips window

To open the Fields and Clips window, in PowerPoint click the PowerForms tab and then click Fields and Clips on the PowerForms toolbar.

To add a new field using the dialog box

If the Operation tab option Ask for Field if no selection on PowerPoint is selected, use this method.

1.Click the Add field icon, AddField.
2.In the Add new Field dialog box, enter the new field. You do not need to include the square brackets.
3.Click OK.

To add a new field from the PowerPoint presentation page

If the Operation tab option Ask for Field if no selection on PowerPoint is not selected, use this method.

1.In the PowerPoint presentation, type a field name. Brackets are optional.
2.Highlight the name, and click the Add field icon, AddField.
