General procedure for creating  and filling in presentations

The following steps are general procedures. Details are provided elsewhere in this Help file.

To create a presentation

1. Open a PowerPoint presentation or template.
2. Add or remove fields, as necessary, using square brackets to surround the field name. For example, [lastname].
3. Save the presentation as a regular PowerPoint presentation or as a template.

To fill in a presentation

1. Open the presentation, or PowerPoint presentation.
2. In PowerPoint 2007, click the PowerForms tab to display the PowerForms toolbar. In PowerPoint 2000, XP or 2003, open the toolbar according to the steps in Restoring the toolbar, if necessary.
3. Click the PowerForms button, PF button,  to open the Main window.
4. Fill in the presentation by scrolling through the Fields list and entering the appropriate information in the corresponding Values column.
5. When you finish filling in the presentation, click Process on the PowerForms toolbar.
6. Save the presentation.
