Single column default position

On a single-column table of contents, the list appears about one-third of the way down on the page.

To reposition the list, manually adjust the frame on the first page of the table of contents and click Update the TOC on the PowerTOC toolbar.

TOC-3

Two column default position

On a two-column table of contents, the left column is lower than the right column.

TOC-1

If you prefer a more symmetrical view, manually shift the left column and align both columns at the top. Click Update TOC on the PowerTOC toolbar.

Switching between one column and two columns

You can switch between a one-column and two-column format by checking and unchecking the Use two columns check box. When you update the TOC the slide is still aligned with any settings you have already made. That is, the TOC starts at the top left where you indicated.
