Select one of the following methods to update a table of contents:
Manual update
| • | If the current presentation already includes a table of contents created by PowerTOC, click the Insert/Update TOC button on the toolbar. PowerTOC updates the table of contents rather than creating a new one. |
Automatic update
| • | PowerTOC automatically updates the table of contents before saving the presentation. |
| • | PowerTOC automatically updates the table of contents before printing the presentation. |
Note: If the table of contents has been locked it won't be updated until you unlock it again.
